The Jefferson Arts Committee (JAC) will host its 7th annual bingo fundraiser and tricky tray featuring numerous well-known designer handbags. The event is on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Jefferson Township High School cafeterias, 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge. The door opens at 5:30 p.m. and calling begins at 7 p.m.
Admission of $25 per person includes three bingo boards for each of the 20 games to be played – that’s 60 chances to win a beautiful handbag from designers including Coach, DKNY, Kate Spade, Vera Bradley, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Fossil, Dooney & Bourke, Michael Kors, and more. Extra bingo boards can be pre-ordered for $5 each (or $10 each at the event). Daubers must be used for the bingo games; guests may bring their own or purchase one at the event for a nominal charge.
Due to limited seating, reservations are required. Forms are available in the display rack at the Jefferson Township Public Library and online at www.facebook.com/JACBingo and http://jeffersonarts.org/forms.html; by email to firstname.lastname@example.org; and by phone request to 973-697-3828. Table reservations for up to eight people will be accepted in the order received, according to the postmark date, until the event is sold out. Mail reservations and payments to the JAC’s post office box following instructions on the form. No reservations will be accepted in person or by phone, and no tickets will be sold at the door.
In addition to bingo, there will be a 50/50 raffle and a tricky tray featuring prizes such as wallets, wristlets, scarves, gift cards and certificates, jewelry, handbags, and fragrances. Guests may also choose a “wheel of chance” opportunity to win additional designer handbags and purchase tickets for “specials and super specials.” These will include a Kitchen Aid mixer, Vera Bradley luggage and tote sets, Nautica luggage, Keurig coffee system, Dooney & Bourke tote set, Amazon tablet with Alexa, Coach cross-body bag and umbrella, Vera Bradley tote set, and Fitbit. Tickets for each of these raffles will be sold on site.
The event includes complimentary coffee, tea, and dessert. Snacks and other refreshments will be available for purchase. For the convenience of guests, three optional meal choices from Frank’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant of Oak Ridge may be pre-ordered on the registration form and pre-paid. No coolers or alcoholic beverages are allowed, and no one under 18 will be admitted.
