The Jefferson Falcons high school field hockey team has joined with the Jersey Cares organization to collect and distribute gently used winter coats to men, women, and children in need throughout the state.

For 22 years, Jersey Cares has collected, sorted, and distributed more than 500,000 coats through its annual drive.

Bring coats to Jefferson Township High School and deposit them in the bin in front of the main office. Coats are being accepted through Tuesday, December 11, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The field hockey athletes appreciate the community’s support in this service project.
