All children are invited to join Cub Scout Pack 49 in a stomp rocket launch on May 29 at The Carnival at Jefferson Township Middle School. Kids will be able to make and launch a flying toy rocket powered by the release of compressed air.

The Cub Scouts are also holding an open house recruiting event during the stomp rocket launch. Many leaders will be available to talk about the exciting programs offered by Pack 49 to boys and girls in grades K-5. Cub Scouts, a values-based outdoor program, gives participants the opportunity to work with each other in accomplishing great “adventures” as they make their way through the program. Cub Scout events involve siblings and parents, providing an excellent way to increase “family time.”

The stomp rocket launch and open house will be repeated on Wednesday, June 19, at 7 p.m. at Cozy Lake School. Those who are unable to attend either event or would like additional information may contact membership chair Keith Eberle at keith.eberle@gmail.com or 908-578-8205.
