Easter might be a little bit more subdued than usual this year, but that doesn’t mean the Easter bunny will be absent. In fact, he’ll be out on the fire trucks in both Oak Ridge and Lake Hopatcong in the coming weeks, thanks to Jefferson Township’s fire companies.

The bunny will begin his tour around the lakeside section of town at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, April 4 and 5.  He will follow the same approximate route as the annual Santa Tour.

He will make his way around Oak Ridge on Saturday, April 11, starting at 9 a.m., also following the same route as the Santa tour. Company 1 will stop to get the bunny some carrots and then continue the tour until all routes are complete.

Please keep in mind that the bunny must maintain social distance, and children are not permitted to approach the fire trucks. The bunny will just be able to drive by, wave, and say hello from the back of the truck.
