The Academy for Environmental Science at Jefferson Township High School will host its second annual family-friendly Eco-Fest on Thursday, March 7. All are welcome to participate in an evening of information, art, and sustainability from 7-9 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Learn about living a more sustainable lifestyle through information booths, vendors of eco-friendly products, make-and-take activities, free samples, and items for sale (cash only).

Students involved in planning the event invite everyone to attend and learn how to live a more sustainable life. Their hope is that Eco-Fest will change people’s lives. Last year, the event drew about 200 attendees.

To host a table for an organization, contact Nancy FitzGerald (before February 20) at nfitzgerald@jefftwp.org.

Eco-Fest is sponsored by a PRIDE in Public Education grant from the Jefferson Township Education Association.
