    2018 Panfish Challenge
    May 20, 2018
On May 20, 2018 the Knee Deep Club will be hosting its Panfish Challenge! This is a one day contest which will be held from 5 AM to 4 PM. This contest is a “points contest”. It is the same type of point structure as our former King of the Lake, or Stew Lant Challenge: 3 points for first place; 2 points for second place and 1 point for third place. Total points will win. The species that will be targeted are Crappie, Yellow Perch, White Perch, Sunfish, and Rock Bass. This contest was created to target some of the “over looked fish”. Lake Hopatcong is well known throughout the region for the Panfish it holds. The contest entry fee is $20.00 for Knee Deep Club Members and $25.00 for non-members ($20 entry + $5.00 non-member fee), and must be submitted on an official contest entry form. Mail in entries must be received by the club on Saturday May 19, 2018. In person entries can be made at either official Knee Deep Club contest weigh station until 8:00 AM on May 20, 2018. Please see the official contest entry form for contest rules and regulations, available at Dow’s Boat Rental at Nolan’s point and Lake’s End Marina, Landing.
Please come out and fish this unique fishing contest !
