Hilltop Country Day School will hold its 41st annual Art Exhibition and Sale from Oct. 25-27. More than 40 local artists from the tri-state area will display works of all mediums, including painting, jewelry, woodworking, ceramics, sculptures and glass.
Open to the general public, Hilltop encourages all members of the surrounding community to peruse the gallery.
Thirty percent of all proceeds benefit the school directly.
The Art Exhibition and Sale is Hilltop’s annual fall fundraiser brings together our community with a focus on one of the school’s prized subjects, art. We thank our sponsors for making this event possible.
The Art Show is an amazing tradition that local residents, alumni, students, teachers, and staff have enjoyed for years.
Watching the school transform into a gallery while actively engaging the students is a special opportunity few schools have the chance to incorporate into their school year.
As per tradition, the Art Exhibition and Sale features one local artist in particular. This year, Debbie Gioello is the 2019 Featured Artist with a body of work spanning etching renditions, abstract polymer paintings, and impressionistic watercolor paintings. Gioello’s work can be found in the permanent collection of the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers, the Bronx Museum of the Arts, the Queens Cultural Center and the Fashion Institute of Technology.
This year’s Opening Night Experience: Art, Food, and Drink will be held from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Oct. 25th.
The gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 26th and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 27th. Admission is complimentary.
