More than 3.6 million middle and high school students have used e-cigarettes in the past month, studies have shown.
Join the Jefferson Township High School and Middle School PTAs, JTMAC, JT Connect and JTeam for Pasta and a Program on January 16. This presentation, called Let’s Clear the Air About Vaping, will feature Rebecca Tritt, MA, LAC, LCADC, NCC, a substance abuse navigator and therapist at Daytop Village. She will discuss what vaping products are, why they are harmful, and how to protect children from this trend.
In addition, high school principal Dr. Timothy Plotts and middle school principal Dr. Kelly Cooke will discuss plans the schools will put into place in the new year to combat this problem.
