Falcons Blast Boonton 16-3 on Senior Night to Win NJAC Colonial Division Title

Boys’ Lacrosse: Boonton Bombers 3 at Jefferson Falcons 16

In front of easily the largest crowd of the season, the Falcons celebrated a night of milestones by jumping out to an 8-0 lead and never turned down the pressure in a 16-3 rout of Boonton.

On an evening when JTHS honored 10 players who suited up for their last regular season home game, the Falcons scored the game’s first 8 goals to put the visiting Bombers away early.  6 of the seniors who were honored tonight scored goals and a seventh, goalie Brandon Vance had a strong night in net making 4 saves.

Bryan Pasquariello led the Falcon attack with 3 goals and an assist.  Jefferson Felter, Hunter Good, and Ian Prezwodek added 2 goals each in a balanced attack.  Hunter Cronk, who also scored a goal,  grabbed a game-high 6 ground balls while Felter and Logan Holleritter picked up 5 each.

Tonight’s win gives the Falcons the NJAC Colonial Division championship; their third straight NJAC title.  Coupled with Monday night’s win at Newton which clinched the Pooley Division title, tonight’s win gives the Falcons their first ever double championship
