Falcons Clinch Division Tie With 14-2 Rout of Newton

Boys’ Lacrosse: Jefferson Falcons 14 at Newton Braves 2

Jefferson scored 6 goals in the 2nd quarter en route to a 14-2 romp over the Braves.  Ian Prezwodek had 5 goals and Alex Leming added 3 with 4 assists to pace the Falcons.   With Prezwodek’s 5 goal effort he passes the 100 goal mark over the past 2 seasons.  Brandon Vance made 9 saves for the Falcons.

Logan Holleritter continued his torrid recent streak scooping up a game high 13 ground balls, and Hunter Cronk grabbed 7 as the win clinched at least a tie of the first ever Pooley Division Championship for JTHS.  A win over Hackettstown on Saturday will give Jefferson the title outright.
