Falcons Make History Routing Hackettstown 14-6 Behind Cappello’s “6-pack”.

Boys Lacrosse: Jefferson Falcons 14 at Hackettstown Tigers 6

The victory means for the first time in the history of the JTHS Boys Lacrosse program, the team won both the NJAC Colonial Division and the NJILL Pooley Division in the same season.

Freshman Matt Cappello lead the Falcon attack with 6 goals and 2 assists.  Alex Leming added 2 goals and 3 assists while picking up 5 ground balls.  Logan Holleritter continued his mastery at grabbing grounders finishing with with 10 while Hunter Cronk picked up 9 and Matt Tanis hauled in 7.  Brandon Vance made 5 saves for Jefferson.

Hackettstown’s offense was led by Zach Bergeron with 2 goals and 2 assists.  Goalie Max Lake made 10 saves as the Falcons out-shot the Tigers 39-16.
