The Jefferson Youth Soccer Club offers two divisions (Recreation and Travel). Travel is more competitive and requires a greater commitment to the sport. The season runs September-June of the following year, with a break December-March.

Prospective youth travel soccer players born from 2005-2012 are eligible for the U9-U15 teams. Tryouts are at Berkshire Valley Field on Saturday morning, May 11 (rain date May 18):

09:00-10:00 – Birth years 2010, 2011, 2012
10:15-11:15 – Birth Years 2008, 2009
11:30-12:30 – Birth Years 2005, 2006, 2007 (if needed)

Girls born in 2007 and 2008 will be evaluated at a team practice on Wednesday, May 15, at 5 p.m. at Berkshire Valley Field (rain date: Friday, May 17, at 5 p.m. at Lakeside Field). Other players born in 2005, 2006, and 2007 will be notified by email no later than May 9 if a Saturday tryout is necessary. New players will likely join a team practice on May 15.

Those unable to try out on the specified dates may contact jystravel@iss-inc.net to schedule an evaluation at a team practice.

Registration for the tryouts is required and must be completed online by the end of May 10 at http://jysonline.bonzidev.com/home.php. Returning players must use their login from the current season to avoid a duplicate registration. New players must create an account; if selected for a team, they can add their birth certificate and photo.

Tryouts are free. Those selected will be assessed $340. New for the fall season, the fee includes team registration for a fall tournament. Coaches will notify players by early summer of the tournament in which their team will play.
