Hang out with Jefferson’s police officers, firefighters, and rescue squads at National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 6 from 6 – 9 p.m. at the Jefferson Municipal Complex.

The night will feature a DJ, games, prizes, informational sessions, safety displays, and police demonstrations. Hot dogs and soft drinks will also be available, all free of charge.

National Night Out is intended to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs;
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
  • Send a message to criminals to let them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
