Christmas in the Village – Weekend of holiday events sponsored by the Jefferson Arts Committee with venues at Fire Company No. 1, Jefferson Township Museum, Milton United Methodist Church, St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, Milton First Aid Squad, Senior Center, and American Legion Post 423. Live entertainment, arts/crafts/merchandise vendors, food, live Christmas trees, fresh wreaths, gingerbread house contest/display, and holiday spirit. See details below.

Saturday, December 1

6:00-11:00 Milton First Aid Squad (45 Milton Road) – Milton First Aid Squad Breakfast with Olaf (from Frozen); fuel up for a day of holiday fun with a hearty breakfast featuring pancakes and more. $9 adults, $6 seniors, $5 children (10 and under). Donations of non-perishable food items collected to benefit New Hope Food Pantry. Supporting the volunteer squad helps them to help residents.

9:00 and 10:15 Arthur Stanlick School (121 East Shawnee Trail) – Jefferson Consolidated PTA hosts 5K Jefferson Jingle at 9:00 ($30 through November 18) and 1-mile Tinsel Trot at 10:15 ($10 through November 18). Free admission to Winter Wonderland at the school.

10:00-3:00 Camp Jefferson (81 Weldon Road) – Visit with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Rudolph hosted by the Recreation Department (lunch break 12:30-1:00). Holiday music, gifts from Santa, coloring pages, refreshments, food served by the Middle School Student Council and Red Cross Club (nominal fee), letters to Santa, candy canes, ice sculptor artist, and model train display. Donations of non-perishable food, paper products, and toiletries accepted for township pantries.

10:00-4:00 Jefferson Township Museum (315 Dover-Milton Road) – Jefferson Township Historical Society hosts “A Gingerbread Christmas” with tours of the Jefferson Township Museum; each room decorated to reflect the culture of the township’s founding families. Costumed docents, complimentary refreshments by the potbelly stove, shopping opportunities at Miss Elizabeth’s Gift Shoppe, and visit from Mrs. Claus. (Also on Sunday, December 2)
