The Jefferson Township Health Department is offering health programs:

SMAC BLOOD SCREENING for residents 18 and older.  The program on Saturday, September 9, 2017 begins at 8 a.m.and is located at the Public Health Center on Minnisink Rd. in Jefferson. Cost is $12 for 62 years and older, $25 for 61 years and younger. This screening tests for glucose, potassium, sodium, cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, and a complete blood count, etc.

FEMALE CANCER SCREENING for Jefferson residents age 18 and older.  The program held Monday, September 19 or October 17 from 6 – 9 p.m. Cost is $35.The screening includes a breast and pelvic exam and Thin-prep Pap test by Nurse Practitioner, urinalysis, Hemoccult test (screen for colo-rectal cancer) and health education counseling.

These programs are open to Jefferson Township residents 18 years and older.  All programs are located at the Public Health Center, 57 Minnisink Rd. in Jefferson. Appointments are necessary. Please call 973-663-0700.
