Saturday, July 13 saw the Jefferson Arts Committee’s third annual Jefferson Fest on the fields of Jefferson High School. The day's activities were capped off with food trucks, the music of Jersey Sound and an impressive fireworks display. The weather was perfect, from blue skies to stars in the sky.

Festival goers had their choice of foods and desserts from nine different trucks, from barbecue to zeppoles. Families and friends filled the fields with chairs and blankets and enjoyed their dinner and each other's company. Some were even spotted reading the latest issue of the Jefferson Chronicle DIGEST. Children and adults could be seen playing soccer, football, and other sports.

Jersey Sound started playing around 7:30 pm and kept the crowd dancing and entertained for almost two hours. At 9:30 the lights were turned off so that the main event could begin. The fireworks display lasted approximately 20 minutes and provided an impressive display of colors, shapes and sounds.
