The Jefferson Township Museum (315 Dover-Milton Road) will have an open house on Sunday, June 2, from 1-4 p.m. Admission is free. The featured exhibit is “Old Things That Hold Things” – a variety of vintage items placed around the freshly painted building.
The museum, also known as the George Chamberlain House, was entered into the National and State Registers of Historic Places in 2010. Costumed docents will be available to talk about this Victorian home.
Guests are invited to visit Miss Elizabeth’s Shoppe in the original kitchen of the house. The Shoppe is packed with new and vintage items for sale – perfect for spring or any time. Visitors may also see spring flowers in the museum’s lovely gardens.
