Jefferson Township Farmers Market is making a return just in time to supply it’s customers with treats and help fill their holiday tables. The Market will will be open two more Sundays, November 19th and December 17th from 10 a.m. to 12 noon or later, if customers continue to arrive. The location will remain the same, outside the main building of the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex, 1033 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey 07849.
The following vendors will be featured:
Sparta Mountain Farms with jams, jellies, salsas and BBQ sauces. Also available will be, farm fresh chicken and duck eggs.
Corbetts providing cookie bars made with very little sugar and white flour, plus locally grown fruits and Belgian chocolates to name a few ingredients. Hot coffee will be available as well.
Olsen’s Honey carrying local, raw honey; chili infused honey, and creamed honey.
Jersey Pickle will have many varieties of whole and sliced pickles. Specialty marinated products like peppers and mushrooms and more will also be available.
Escentually Natural will be selling hand-crafted bath, body and wellness products that utilize home-grown botanicals and essential oils.
Farmer Tom will also be in attendance to talk about his Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program for next year. CSA allows local residents to have direct access to high quality, fresh produce grown locally by farmers. When you become a member of a CSA, such as Farmer Tom’s, you’re purchasing a “share” of vegetables from a local farmer.
