Stefan Knapik and Katherine Cocca, graduating seniors from Jefferson Township High School, received the Library Trustees Jeanne Craig/Rose Lange Scholarships.

Stefan Knapik will be attending the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, New Jersey and Katherine Cocca will be attend the College of New Jersey in Trenton, New Jersey.

Scholarship applicants write a short essay about the role the public library has played in their life. The Trustees then select the two best essays and award a scholarship to the authors

The scholarships are awarded annually by the Library Trustees to commemorate the services of Jeanne Craig and Rose Lange two long time Trustees of the Library. Seth Stephens, Director of the Jefferson Library said that combined Jeanne Craig and Rose Lange had given nearly 50 years of volunteer service to the Library.

Jeanne Craig passed this Spring and Rose Lange continues to serve as a Trustee of the Library.
