The following fishing report comes from Laurie Murphy of Dow’s Boat Rental.

We’re still seeing some night time action taking place, with walleyes and hybrids hitting on topwater lures. Roman Pera’s largest Hybrid hit the scales at 8 lb 2 oz.  Several trout also still being caught.  We’re seeing a mixed bag of fish taking herring,  including pickerel, bass, yellow perch and Hybrids. Remember that Knee Deep’s Stu Lant Bass Contest is this Sunday, June 25, with cash prizes for the top three fish. There will also be rod and reel combo’s awarded to the top six finishers,  donated by Ramsey’s Outdoor. We are open early seven days a week with bait and boat rentals.

Dow’s Boat Rental is located at 145 Nolan’s Point Road in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey.  They can be contacted by phone 973-663-3826.
