The Jersey Hills Wood Carvers (JHWC) club, founded by Earl Post, is a small, diverse group of people sharing their passion, time, knowledge, and joy of woodcarving. The club’s objective is to promote interest in and appreciation of the art of wood carving to all.

The JHWC meets from 7 to 9 p.m. on the first, third, and fifth Thursday of each month (when school is in session) at the Jefferson Township High School wood shop classroom, 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge.

Membership is free and open to anyone interested in woodcarving, regardless of ability. The hands-on setting of meetings allows members and visitors the opportunity for practice and guidance.
