The Jefferson Township Museum, also known as the George Chamberlain House, will have an open house on Sunday, November 5, from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free. Costumed docents will be available to talk about this Victorian home. Featured this month will be the Museum’s display of vintage and antique quilts. There will also be new handmade quilts for sale from the private collection of Society members.

Be sure to visit Miss Elizabeth’s Shoppe located in the original kitchen of the Museum. The Shoppe is having a 20% off sale on all merchandise.

The Museum, located at 315 Dover-Milton Road in Oak Ridge was entered into the National and State Registers of Historic Places in 2010.
