The Jefferson Township Public Library’s book drop has moved from the Pathmark to the front of Adam’s Hot Bagels. The new tenants of the former Pathmark asked the library to remove the book drop.

Seth Stephens, library director, told The Jefferson Chronicle that he is grateful for all the suggestions that were put forth on Facebook for a new book drop location. With the help of Facebook, library representatives spoke with Jimmy Seretis, owner of the Jefferson Diner shopping center, who offered the space in front of Adam’s.

The book drop provides a convenient way for patrons to return borrowed materials to the library. For many, said Stephens, it is one less trip up Weldon Road to the municipal complex. The book drop is emptied daily.
