Deal Signed for New Tenant

It’s a done deal!

There will be a new tenant at the former Pathmark building on Route 15, which has been vacant for several years.

Mayor Russell Felter made the announcement during a candidate’s forum this evening, May 17. He added that the “papers had been signed” this afternoon firming the deal for a medical facility at the location.

“We worked very hard to get a food store, but the interest just wasn’t there,” Felter said, adding, “But this will be great for the community.”

Area residents had been very vocal about the need for a food market in that location for several months.

The mayor declined to name the new renter but told The Jefferson Chronicle “more details will come in the next few weeks.”
