Event Will Include Climbing, Fishing, Shooting Sports, and More

Boys ages 11-17 who like to challenge themselves, build adventure, go rock climbing, and fish are invited to Adventure Day in Stanhope. The event will take place on Sunday, May 6, from 1-4 p.m. at Camp Somers (750 Waterloo Road, Stanhope).

Activities will include fishing, shooting sports, rock climbing, geocaching, nature hikes, making s’mores, and more. Outdoor Adventure Day is sponsored by the membership committee of Patriots’ Path Council, Boy Scouts of America.

Participants are encouraged to bring friends. The fee is $5 per person. Registration is required by May 1 at http://ppbsa.doubleknot.com/event/2357413.

The Patriots’ Path Council (#358) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preparing young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of good character, citizenship, and personal fitness.
