Gina Fiornascente, 19 of Montclair and two friends from Bergen County were found in front of 2 Colonial Circle on Nov. 17, attempting to entice the juvenile resident into a fight. Numerous threats and harassing texts were sent to the juvenile from Fiornascente. During the investigation, Fiornascente attempted to flee and was placed under arrest.  Fiornascente was charged and transported to St. Clare’s, Denville for injuries unrelated to the incident.

Vincent Otero, 30 of South Amboy, was traveling on Route 15 North when he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Nov. 18. Officers detected the odor of raw marijuana in the vehicle. Otero handed over drug paraphernalia to officers. A search of the vehicle revealed an additional amount of raw marijuana and paraphernalia. Otero was served summonses and released.

Angelos Tsigounis, 62 of Sparta was reported to be driving erratically on Route 15 North on Nov. 18. Moments later he was reported to have struck a curb in the area of 15 North and Edison Rd, disabling the vehicle. Officers arrived on scene and observed Tsigounis to be visibly intoxicated. Tsigounis refused field sobriety tests and had an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. He was issued motor vehicle summons.

On Nov. 21, a resident of 10 Tierney Road reported of a theft from an unlocked trailer. Four chainsaws (model names not available) were stolen. The theft occurred possibly between Sunday, Nov. 20 at 3 a.m. and Monday, Nov. 21 at 3 a.m.

Mitchell Jent, from Morristown, was arrested for possession of marijuana on Nov. 26 after officers made a motor vehicle stop for a discrepancy with New Jersey plates and a Pennsylvania inspection sticker on Jent’s vehicle. Jent was arrested and issued a summons for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

A father and son were lost in the Mahlon Dickerson Reservation on Dec. 4. A night time multi-agency search located the two individuals successfully.

Joseph Williams of Lake Hopatcong, crashed his car on Mase Road on Dec. 4. He was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated. Summonses were issued.

Richard Granholm was stopped on Route 15 on Dec. 8 for speeding and not having a front license plate. Officers detected odor of raw marijuana and recovered marijuana from the vehicle. Granholm was arrested and issued complaint summons for possession of marijuana.

Michael Gonzalez Jr. of New York was stopped in the BP gas station parking lot on Dec. 8 after being observed traveling north in the southbound lanes of Route 15. Officers detected the odor of burnt marijuana coming from within the vehicle. Mr. Gonzalez admitted to having a half smoked blunt in his cigarette pack. Further investigation revealed he had 10 unprescribed Percocet pills in his possession. Gonzalez was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Officers stopped Ryan Liranzo for speeding on Dec. 10. Officers detected an odor of raw marijuana emanating from inside the passenger compartment. Liranzo admitted he was in possession of marijuana. Liranzo was arrested and issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Wendy Casey of Wharton crashed her car into another car at the corner of Minisink Road and Espanong Road on Dec. 11. Casey was arrested and issued a summons.

Concerned motorists alerted patrol to an erratic driver on Berkshire Valley Road on Dec. 13, who was later identified as Phillip Tripodi of Hewitt. Tripodi was arrested for DWI and found to be in possession of an uncommonly large amount of gambling cards common to VFWs and American Legions. Further investigation by the West Milford P.D. showed that Tripodi stole the gambling cards from a local association of veterans. Tripodi was arrested and issued a summons. Twenty-four hours later, concerned motorists once again call in about Tripodi’s erratic drivers. Officers caught up with Tripodi and found him to have consumed two airplane bottles of Fireball while chewing on Xanax pills. Tripodi was arrested and issued another summons.

Following a motor vehicle stop for speeding on Dec. 14, Kevin Terebecke was arrested after officers detected an odor of raw marijuana emanating from his vehicle. A search of the passenger compartment revealed a gallon size baggie containing suspected marijuana. Both Terebecke and passenger Roshaan Foster were placed under arrest, processed and charged.

An accident investigation involving a head-on collision and a roll-over in the area of Cedar Terrace on Route 15 South led to the arrest o Dec. 15 of Roxbury resident Kenneth Smith III for DWI and possession of heroin. Smith was issued a summons and a criminal complaint for possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was lodged in the Morris County Jail in lieu of $5000 bail.

Following a motor vehicle stop for failure to keep right on Dec. 17, Colin Kramer of Vineland, was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, marijuana under 50g. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

Ronald Werner of 30 Sandy Point was stopped for riding his bicycle on the wrong side of the roadway on Dec. 21. A computer check revealed several warrants. Werner was turned over to Mt. Arlington P.D.

Officers responded to Skin Creations 770 Route 15 South on Dec. 17 for a report of the cash register on the floor of the business and what appeared to be a possible burglary. Cabinets and drawers throughout the business were left opened and an envelope containing approximately $2500 was missing from the business. No signs of forced entry were observed. Det. Gjelsvik responded to process the scene.

Multiple burglaries to motor vehicles were reported on Skyline Drive and Walnut Place on Dec. 17. All vehicles appeared to have been left unlocked. The incidents are being investigated.
