Police: McDonald’s Landscaping Hit; Pole Damaged

Neyha Dave, 34, of Lake Hopatcong was arrested on Swan Lane for DWI on Feb. 23. Dave was issued a summons and released pending a court appearance.

During a motor vehicle stop, Gerald Dermenjian, 47, of Garfield, NJ, was arrested for possession of CDS and other contraband during a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 22. He was transported to Jefferson Township Police Headquarters were he was processed and issued complaint summons, pending a court date.

Claudia Tietz, 21, of Oak Ridge was found to be intoxicated after she crashed her car into the landscaping in front of McDonald’s on Rt. 15 and attempted to leave the scene on March 4. PO McCarthy took her into custody and transported to Jefferson Township Police Headquarters. She was issued summons and released pending a court date.

A driver of a motor vehicle on Dover Milton Road struck a utility pole when trying to avoid a deer on March 7.  The pole was damaged and needed to be replaced, closing Dover Milton Road for approximately nine hours.  No serious injuries were reported.

Guy Mercurio, 62, of Forrest Hills NY, was found in possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on March 7. He was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
