On Thursday (September 7) night around 10 p.m., a motor vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Berkshire Valley Road and Ridge Road. The accident occurred between a 17-year-old driver with a probationary license and a an 18-year-old. Both drivers live in Jefferson Township and came out of the crash uninjured, but both of the vehicles were disabled and towed to Sar’s Tow Yard.
According to Jefferson Township Police, Vehicle #1 was traveling east on Berkshire Valley Road and took a left turn at the intersection onto Ridge Road. Vehicle #2 was traveling west on Berkshire Valley road going straight ahead when the front right of his vehicle collided with the rear passenger side of vehicle #1.
Police said there were no injuries. The accident is under review, but no summons has been issued.
