Keith Willoughby, 73, of Randolph, was asleep behind the wheel of his running Honda Civic in the parking lot of Gatwyns on April 21. Officer Carroll determined Willoughby was under the influence of alcohol and he was placed under arrest. Willoughby was processed at police headquarters and issued Summons, pending a future court date.
While following up on possible gun shots on Pine Street on April 30, Officer Stokes effected a motor vehicle stop. During the stop he detected an odor of suspect Marijuana. As a result of the stop and subsequent inquiry, the following Jefferson Township residents were placed under arrest for Possession of CDS:Michael Brennan, 19, Rebecca Weilbaecher, 19. Jeanne Believe, 19, and Dominick Cantagallo, 20. The subjects were arrested transported to police headquarters and processed. All subjects were charged accordingly and released pending a court appearance.
A local resident located and turned over a bank bag containing over $7000.00 in US Currency on April 30. A short investigation followed which resulted in the owner being located. The bag and contents were turned over to owner.
Carolyn Straw, 48, of Jefferson Township was trying to avoid a collision with another vehicle on April 30 when she lost control and drove her vehicle into a house on Nolan’s Point Road. Officer Paskas determined Straw was under the influence of alcohol. She was placed under arrest, processed and issued a summons pending a future court date.
5/07/17, 17-14806 – DWI/CDS, PO Johnson: The police department received 911 calls of an erratic driver on Berkshire Valley Road on May 7. Officer Johnson located the vehicle in Acme parking lot. The driver was Bonnie Biville, 21, of Mt. Arlington and passenger was Richard Bosler, 21, of Jefferson Township. Both were arrested for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Biville was also arrested and charged with DWI. Both were processed, issued summons and released pending a future court date.
