The Jefferson Township Recreation Department and Sparta Lanes are partnering to provide another fall bowling program students in Kindergarten (5 year olds) through 12th grade. Join the team at Sparta Lanes at 83 Woodport Road in Sparta every Thursday beginning on October 3 at 4:30 pm for this fun-filled six-week program that runs through November 7 (there will be bowling on Nov. 7 during Teachers’ Convention).
Each week, bowlers will play two games, staff will be available for questions, the Pro Shop will be open for any participant needing assistance with equipment, and each bowler will be given a Jefferson bowling team t-shirt to wear each week.
The cost per bowler will be $48 for the six-week program; there is an option to have a meal included at Sparta Lanes for an additional $18 ($3 per week) for a total of $66. The meal would include a small drink with a hot dog or chicken nuggets each Thursday during each of the program dates.
Students can chose if they want to use the bowling bumpers, and everyone can choose two people who they would like to bowl with each week. Bowling partners must each file their own registration and all must agree on using bumpers or not.
Registration is online at https://register.communitypass.net; and if you already have an existing account, sign in or follow the prompts to set up your own personal account through the Jefferson Township community. In either case, chose the “2019 Children’s Bowling Program” season to register and then choose either the “No Meals” or “With Meals” option.
Registration must be completed online through Community Pass. Visit www.communitypass.net and use Jefferson Township as the community/organization. Those with existing Community Pass accounts should enter their login and password, choose the activity under the season “2019 Karate for Adults and Children,” register, and pay the class fee. If the login or password is forgotten, the system allows recovery and reset using the email address.
Adults may establish a Community Pass account by following the prompts, and then adding the child’s name. Email confirmation will be sent automatically after registering and making a payment. Karate participants must be registered and the class fee paid in full BEFORE attending the first class on September 9th. A late registration fee will take effect as of September 19th.
For online payment at checkout, use credit card (subject to a bank fee) or select “Send Payment” for one of the following options: drop off a check, cash, or money order at the Camp Jefferson office or mail a check to the office postmarked within three business days of registration (do not mail cash).
