The Cameos will take the main stage at the Jefferson Township High School field at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, for Jefferson Fest II – a food trucks, concert, and fireworks event. You are cordially invited by the Township of Jefferson and the Jefferson Arts Committee to attend this free event.

The Cameos, a talented eight-piece vocal harmony group, create and perform their own unique renditions of the most popular songs of the 1950s through ’70s, early rock and roll, doo-wop, and Motown.

The school field is located at 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge. Come at 5:00, set up your chair or blanket, and enjoy the delicious and varied culinary offerings of food trucks beginning at 5:30. Enjoy the pre-concert music and children’s activities by DJ Earl Heller as you enjoy your dinner, refreshments, or snacks.

At 7:15, The Cameos will take you on a two-hour musical journey back in time to where it all started with vocal group harmony in the ’50s and ’60s and the glory days of early rock and roll. Memories will come flooding back as you listen to the sounds of the Duprees, Drifters, Flamingos, Dell-Vikings, Diamonds, Crests, Elvis, Four Seasons, and many more. You’ll feel an irresistible beat and find yourself dancing to the best rock and roll you’ve ever heard. The group’s energy and showmanship will appeal to all age groups.

The Cameos have performed at the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel, NJPAC in Newark, Atlantic City, the Meadowlands, Rich Nader’s Doo-Wop Extravaganza, dinner clubs, night clubs, weddings, and special events throughout the tri-state area. The talented and diverse vocalists are backed by musicians who also have that special blend of talent and experience. The music is always one hundred percent live – no taped music is used in any Cameos performance.

After the concert, raise your eyes to the sky for a spectacular aerial fireworks display staged and choreographed by Interstate Fireworks, the company that has been presenting its fantastic show in Jefferson for more than two decades.

Admission and parking (including handicapped parking) are free throughout the event. The following are absolutely prohibited: alcohol, smoking, drugs, fireworks, bicycles, pets or animals of any kind, large coolers, backpacks, drones.

Additional details and specific schedules will be released soon on and Jefferson Arts Committee on Facebook. For questions or comments, email or call 973-697-2032 or 973-697-3828.
