It’s really never too early to think about Christmas so envision riding in comfort to New York City to see the Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular at a discounted group rate! You can travel with the Jefferson Township Recreation Department on Friday, November 10, 2017 with some time to sightsee and eat before the 2 pm performance. Note that Jefferson Township schools are closed for the NJEA Convention so bring the kids!
Christmas shines at Radio City and it begins when you walk through the doors of the storied Radio City Music Hall. You pause for a moment and stand to admire the Art Deco lobby then make your way to your seat. With a hush, slowly the curtain rises, the music swells and the Rockettes appear. Perfect, in unison they dance across the stage, mesmerizing the audience in their precision. And just like that, you are transported to another place where reindeer prance and dash through the snow, where Rag Dolls spring to life, and Wooden Soldiers march in a fantastic parade. For a time, the hustle and the bustle of the world outside disappears and you are reminded of the true meaning and spirit of the holiday season. Then, in the blink of an eye, the curtain falls and you know Christmas is here.
Tickets are $92 per person and include reserved orchestra seating in Sections 3 & 4, transportation by deluxe motor coach, and driver gratuity. Two buses will leave the Camp Jefferson parking lot, 81 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ. at 8:30 am sharp (please be ready to board the bus no later than 8:15 am) as the bus will not wait for latecomers. The buses will depart from NYC immediately after the show (approximately 3:45 pm).
Registration for this trip is only online through Community Pass so log on to https://register.communitypass.net/reg/index.cfm and if you already have an existing account, sign in or follow the prompts to set up your own personal account through the Jefferson Township community. In either case, chose “Fall/Winter Season 2017” to register for this bus trip. As with any online shopping site, everything in your cart is payable immediately. Full payment of all items in your shopping cart can be made online at checkout with a MC, VISA, or Discover credit card subject to a 2.65% bank convenience fee. However, you can choose to “Send Payment” at checkout and then drop off a check, cash, or money order to the JT Recreation Dept. office at Camp Jefferson, 81 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong,NJ 07849 within 3 business days. Or you can mail a check to the office postmarked the day of your registration or the next business day so the office receives your payment within 3 business days of registration — do not mail cash. If full payment is not received in the office within 3 business days of registration, your ticket order can be cancelled and your tickets sold to another customer.
