20th Annual Memorial Wrobo Run/Walk – Sunday, October 7, 9 a.m. at the municipal complex, open to all ages. Benefits Blue Star Mothers of Northern New Jersey and scholarships for high school students. In memory of Oak Ridge resident Second Lieutenant John Thomas (J.T.) Wroblewski.

Lake Loop Run/Paddle/Bike – Sunday, October 7, at Hopatcong State Park in Landing, open to all ages. Benefits Lake Hopatcong Foundation. Biking: three scenic routes of 20, 40, and 62 miles around Lake Hopatcong. Running: 5K/3.1-mile or 1.5-mile trail run. Paddling: 2.5 miles (kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards available for rent).

Hope Heals – Saturday, October 13, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Camp Jefferson, open to all ages. Community art, music, and performance event, seeks to raise awareness, encourage hope, and reduce the stigma associated with mental health and substance use disorders. Event is free.

Fall Festival – Saturday, October 20, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Camp Jefferson, open to all ages. Music, hayrides, pony rides, children’s activities, corn maze, pumpkin picking, model trains, contests. Most activities free. Refreshments available.

Halloween Haunted House – Saturday and Sunday, October 20-21, starting at 3 p.m. at Camp Jefferson, open to all ages.
