JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, NEW JERSEY – Christopher Connelly, 57, of Jefferson Township, died due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Dec. 9 at Berkshire Valley Road and Legion Road.
Jefferson Township Police said that Connelly was traveling West on Berkshire Valley Road. Kathleen Mitchell, 83, of Stockholm, who was traveling east on Berkshire Valley Road, struck Connelly’s vehicle.
Connelly was transported to St. Clare’s Dover, where he was later pronounced dead. Mitchell was transported to Chilton Hospital for injuries suffered.
This matter is still under investigation by Jefferson Police Officer Rodger Davis. Any witnesses to this incident should contact Davis at 973-697-1300.
