We’re very excited to be here, giving you all the news you need to know about Jefferson Township.

Our tag line is “From the Community, For the Community,” and that’s exactly what we intend to follow. Our staff is made up of all Jefferson Township residents, and we will be writing about Jefferson Township news. It’s that simple. If it’s happening in town, you’ll know about it, and we’ll be your source for getting that news. From emergencies to township council meetings to the board of education to sports to events around town, you’ll know about it through the Chronicle.

We welcome and encourage your input into this publication. If you belong to an organization that is running an event, let us know about it. Submit your event to our calendar, and send us pictures and a story. We’ll be sure to consider it for publication.

If you see something going on around town that we should know about, tell us! Send us an email to newsroom@thejeffersonchronicle.com.

We have a variety of regular columns that we’d love to see you contribute to. These include The Wooden Spoon, our weekly recipe column. If you have a favorite dish you’d like to share, submit it to us and we’ll post it. And then there’s J-Town Tidbits, in which we’ll bring you up to speed on all sorts of little-known town information. If you have a specific question, let us know and we will get the right answer for you.

Do you and/or your children belong to an organization, sports team, club, etc. that is doing something great? Let us know about it! Pictures and stories are always welcome!

Let us know how we’re doing. We are working for you, and we always want to know what you think.

Happy New Year, Jefferson Township!
