The Jefferson Township Museum, also known as the George Chamberlain House, will have an open house on Sunday, October 6, 2019, from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
Congratulations to our member, Dianna Filan, whose docent costume won first prize at the NJ Farm and Horse Show in August. You can almost always find Dianna along with the other dedicated docents in their costumes at the museum’s first Sunday of the month open house.
The featured exhibit is “Old Things that Hold Things.” Try guessing what each item’s purpose is, but there is an answer key if you are stumped. Be sure to visit Miss Elizabeth’s Shoppe located in the original kitchen of the Museum. Also view the newly dedicated arbor in the Museum gardens.
